Daily Expenses ("the App") is a personal finance tracker. This policy explains what data is involved when you use the App and how it is handled in the current release.
1. Data we store
- Expense and income entries you enter (amount, description, category, date, type).
- Notes and to-do lists you create.
- App preferences (currency symbol, theme, custom categories).
2. Where data is stored
In this version, all data is stored only on your device (local database). We do not operate a cloud backup or account service for this release. Your entries are not uploaded to our servers.
3. What we do not collect
- We do not require an account or sign-in.
- We do not collect your name, email, or location for app functionality in this version.
- We do not show third-party advertising in the App.
- We do not sell your personal data.
4. Sharing
Because data stays on your device, it is not shared with us unless you choose to export it yourself (for example CSV via the system share sheet) or contact support and voluntarily send information.
5. Export and deletion
- Export: Settings → Export as CSV (you control where the file goes).
- Deletion: Settings → Clear local data removes all entries, notes, and to-dos from this device.
6. Your rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Use in-app export or clear data, or email support.
7. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). Do not use the App if you are under that age.
8. Security
Data is protected by your device lock and the operating system's app sandbox. Protect your device with a passcode or biometrics. No method is 100% secure.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
